German Packaging Award Ceremony on 27th September in Nuernberg. The TUBEX aluminium cans Foil2Can and Less is more won in the categories Sustainability and Design and Processing respectively.

TUBEX Holding GmbH, based in Rangendingen, Germany, has acquired the Hungarian packaging manufacturer Matrametal Kft. In future the 7 production sites of TUBEX Group will have a capacity of 700 million aerosol cans and 1,6 billion aluminium tubes. More than 1,700 people will work at this 7 production sites.

Yet another ADF Award in the categorie „Concept of the Year“ for TUBEX for a natural overvarnish. The ingredients are all biodegradable. Standard overvarnish (not water-based overvarnish) usually consists of Polyester which is based on mineral oil.

TUBEX wins consecutive World Star Award with the Cien Deodorant. After 2021 TUBEX has been awarded once again with a World Star Award by the World Packaging Organisation. The Cien deodorant aerosol can was very successful throughout the year and this award is a great closure of this successful year.
